| What Is Valentine? |
Valentine was living in Rome during the third century. At that time an emperor person named “Claudius” was ruling Rome. Valentine did not like Claudius. Valentine was not the only one that Claudius was not being liked by that even many people did not like him. Because Claudius was expecting to have a big and powerful army so he was requesting every body to participate the war voluntarily and people were ignoring his thoughts because of their wives and children. The ignoring on people made Claudius frenzied. Then he thought that the people are not obeying him because of their wives and children. So therefore, he came up with a crazy thought and idea, he announced that no single people could marry anymore. Having been announced, people thought that his new law was fierce and Valentine was absolutely thinking that his new law was extravagant. Valentine was truly and certainly not going to support and obey his new law. Did I mention and that I was clergy- yman? “Says Valen- tine”. Even it had been announced by the emperor not to marry any more. But Valentine was performing marriages secretly. And it was one of the best and favorite choices and activities of Valentine to marry and join couples together. Valentine says; please think and imagine once that how romantic is that.
